My expectations were wrong - Riley Thorp

My mission trip experience has been really fun and nothing like I expected. I came into this trip thinking it would be no fun but instead of it being no fun I ended up bonding with the rest of the group and the trip flew by so fast and I feel like everyone had a good time.

My favorite part was serving at Metro Ministries, I liked helping out with giving people that can’t afford food, food. Knowing that so many families were going to be able to be able to eat made me feel good.

On Thursday we packed lunches and walked around downtown Denver giving homeless people food and water. You could see the smile knowing that they were going to have something to eat and drink .
