So, I just realized that we leave on our next grand adventure as a group of 16 in less than four weeks! Where has the time gone? It seems like we just got back from our last trip. This year's theme is "First Love." It's the idea that we love because God has first loved us. On this Father's Day, we remember that special love that a father has for his children. Our Heavenly Father loved us so much that He sent His only Son into the world to redeem us and bring us back into His family. He is the ultimate example of what being a father looks like, and even more importantly, what loving looks like.
As this trip quickly approaches, I encourage you to look back at our previous posts, photos and requests for prayer. It's a good reminder of ways to pray for the group, a look into the work we'll be doing (as it's usually always the same types of things, just for different organizations) and the things we learn from God as we seek Him.
Four leaders, twelve youth, two Suburbans, nine nights, ten days (six days driving!) and undoubtedly a crazy amount of ways we'll see God along the way!
Tim
