Catching up on photos from the trip

We still are missing some photos, but here are some additional ones from the trip.
With some of our new friends at the Mission Neighborhood Center - Capp Street after we helped distribute food (some of which we had packed two days earlier at the Food Bank!), participated in a Zumba class and served them lunch. We loved our time with them.

Special shout out to Chloe from Jonah!

Kian is hanging on for dear life at Twin Peaks...we told him he needs to keep working on the acting skills.

Another one!

And another one!

A bunch of us (from four different churches) on our walk across the Golden Gate.

Kian moving mulch to help create flowerbeds along one of the greenhouses at BARM Farm (Bay Area Rescue Mission)

There are a lot of these greenhouses on the property. Some are more modern (from the 80s) but most are pre-WWII and were used for Rose production. Today they are being retrofitted for use in food production, education about agriculture and as event space.

Removing some unwanted plants growing at the wall of one of the pre-WWII greenhouses.

A beautiful yellow monarch butterfly (and many others) were spotted on the farm.

Britney working the soil outside of one of the newer greenhouses.

The new next to the old, and a landscaped aisle between the two.

Sunflowers on the farm.

Our Farm work crew...the dogs had no interest in the photo.

All four church groups at Grace Lutheran in Richmond right before our departure from a great week participating in service and seeking God.

The last one...

Pizza night! Kian and Max...

More on the bridge.

Sydney (one of the Youthworks staff) and Keziah

Scott's crew that served at the Tenderloin Boys & Girls Club all week...

The gift given to our group who served at the Boys and Girls Club

Max and Kian on the way to Alcatraz

Levi, Grant and Emma at St. Anthony's Dining Hall. This dining hall serves over 2000 meals per day.

Grant and Jermaine, who is one of the volunteers at St. Anthony's that Grant connected with.
