We've arrived!

Our arrival is always so busy that it's hard to fit in a post before it's time for lights out.

Our first day of travel was good-- very tiring, but good. We arrived in Pocatello, ID at Grace Lutheran Church. They have a really nice facility that they allowed us to stay overnight at. Pastor Dinger and his wife provided breakfast for our group as well, which was much appreciated! We will be staying there again on our way back.

The next morning, we got up early again, and with the van half packed already, we got ourselves going by about 6:15. We tried finding coffee, but most everything in Pocatello, ID is closed on Sunday. So we hit the road.

The GPS wanted us to go down to Utah and cut over, but we cut across Hwy 30, which was mainly a two lane highway. There was a ridiculous amount of road kill. There were also no cars on the road. It made for an interesting trek. We finally connected back up with I-80 and travelled along to Cheyenne before dropping down into Colorado where there was a lightning storm waiting for us! It poured rain on us for about 15 minutes.

We arrived safely around 4:45 and got set up. Here are a couple of photos from our "orientation" evening. More about our work sites later!
